Member Benefits

Networking

WA's objective is to facilitate effective networking among our member executives. Networking is the most effective means of finding new ideas, solutions to your challenges, best practices and those visionary insights that can transform your firm over time. It keeps you thinking strategically and helps to maintain your competitive edge.

Annual & TecTrac Meetings

WA holds two meetings each January and September. WA’s Annual Meeting provides attendees an opportunity to hear from relevant speakers, network with peers and business associates, and work on WA initiatives. The TecTrac meeting provides hands-on training and information on manufacturing, installation, and servicing of customer complaints in the wallcoverings industry.

Regulatory & Environmental Issues

WA has a regulatory consultant who monitors government issues and legislation that affects the industry. WA also distributes reports from our code consultant who monitors fire code developments (including NFPA, ICC and ASTM). The WA has also created and is implementing a third-party certified industry standard for wallcoverings products.

Public Relations

The Wallcoverings Association has partnered with a public relations agency specializing in the architectural and design industry. Keeping a finger on the pulse of interior design publications such as I+S magazine, Big Picture magazine, and others, we make sure that you always have the latest design trends available. In addition to this knowledge, we work to get our members publicity videos of their new products and designs, and coordinate several publicity events each year. For more information, email stiwana@wallcoverings.org

Education

Members have access to nationally known speakers that present at WA's events, as well as receive timely industry information in the quarterly newsletter. WA also provides educational resources, such as webinars, throughout the year.

Information and Research

This serves as the basis for effective decision-making by wallcoverings industry executives. WA provides industry and association updates in the quarterly newsletter, discussion forums and through a statistical report available to only WA member participants.
