2011 Winning Walls With Wallcovering Contest

Generously sponsored by Rust-Oleum Corporation, Zinsser Brands, the 2011 National Guild of Professional Paperhangers Winning Walls With Wallcovering contest was a hit! Despite a sluggish economy, the fifty-six entries showcased some of the most amazing work yet. The craftsmanship displayed was only enhanced by the stories of the processes that led to the results. This is truly an industry where ‘necessity becomes the mother of invention’ as entrants shared their ingenuity by creating solutions to problems that were specific to each individual project. The other theme that became obvious in the narratives entered was the teamwork that NGPP members exemplified in these projects. Many entries had multiple installers who relied on the individual skill and expertise of each other. The level of cooperation among professionals was not only refreshing but a pleasure to read.
